If you are dogs are members of your family, you are quite familiar with the types of ‘bad behavior’ that they can have. It is all part of the growing up process, but even some of those that are adult dogs seem to constantly get into trouble. The internet has brought about a way for dog owners to share the antics and it’s called ‘Dog Shaming’.
Social media is now filled with the images of ‘Dog Shaming’. You hang a sign around the dog’s neck stating what the dog did and then take a picture of him or her. The looks on the dog’s faces are funny enough, but when you read the signs you will absolutely bust up in laughter. It can be everything from harmless situations such as ‘barking at pants’ all the way to the more destructive such as ripping sand filled toys apart and turning the living room into a beach. Of course, the funniest ones have to do with what the dogs decide to rip up, how they handle it and even where they ‘poop’.
Since the holidays always bring things into the house that aren’t normal, there are special ‘shaming’s’ just devoted to ripping up Santa, eating the Baby Jesus statue, throwing up and even pooping on trampolines. Many of the dog shaming images have gone viral, with picture after picture of dogs looking incredibly embarrassed and the signs around their necks displaying the reason for their guilt.
Dogs are famous for their feelings of abandonment when their owners go to work, so you will see everything from “I ate the sheets when they left me alone” to “I poop in my Mom’s shoes after she goes to work”. The antics of some of these beloved pups usually include what they have been doing when the room was quiet. The funnies can make you laugh until you cry. Sweet little furred faces staring up at you with signs that read “If I am quiet, I am usually tearing apart the toilet paper” or “I like to watch people pee”.
Dog owners everywhere are being invited to join the never ending list of dog shaming and submit their own images of legacy to a number of websites.
